Basic Qualifications:
• 4+ years utility distribution design experience (15kV through to 500kV)
• 2-year Associates Degree or technical certificate
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with project engineers, designers and client representatives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel & Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5-10 years electrical utility distribution design experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (2016 or newer) software
• Proficiency with MicroStation (V8 or newer).
• Joint-Use experience
• O-Calc experience
• Understanding of GIS and conceptual distribution layout
• Utilization of distribution design experience to construct & determine routes for natural gas & electrical distribution lines
• Ability to adhere to NESC & client requirements
• Ability to work amongst a team to deliver projects on-time and within budget
