Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years utility distribution design experience (15kV through to 500kV)
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong communication skills to co-ordinate with project engineers, designers and client representatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel & Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-15 years electrical utility distribution design experience
- Professional Engineering License
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (2016 or newer) software
- Proficiency with MicroStation (V8 or newer).
- Experience with O-Calc software
- Experience with PLS-CADD software
- Overhead and underground line design experience
- Overhead and underground fiber design experience
- Understanding of GIS and conceptual distribution layout
- Utilization of distribution design experience to construct & determine routes for natural gas & electrical distribution lines
- Ability to adhere to NESC & client requirements
- Ability to work amongst a team to deliver projects on-time and within budget
