b19 Consulting is working with an established power delivery company to find a Transmission Line Engineering Manager that comes from an electric utility background
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years utility transmission line engineering experience (15kV through to 500kV)
- Bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering with a structural knowledge also desirable
- Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with project engineers, designers and client representatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel & Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards obtaining.
- 3+ years in lead engineer/supervisory/management capacity
- Expertise in final QA/QC for transmission line designs within the team
- Track record of managing & maintaining client relationships, and active involvement within utility bids & proposals
- Delegation of responsibilities and liaison between project managers and engineering team
- Broad technical knowledge over engineering design and construction of transmission line projects up to 500kV
- Self-starting individual with excellent written & communication skills
- Delivery of technical papers & presentations to showcase company’s technical capabilities at relevant industry conferences & events
