B19 is working with an established power delivery company who are looking to hire a Transmission Line Program Manager that comes from an electric utility background.
Basic Qualifications:
- 12+ years transmission line utility engineering or PM experience (15kV through to 500kV)
- Bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with project engineers, construction managers & representatives up to director level.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel & Word.
- Valid US driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) License
- PE License
- 5+ years’ experience in a management capacity in the utility sector
- Experience executing transmission line design projects in the US electric utility sector
- Experienced in the recruitment process and selection of suitable engineers for utility projects.
- Project Management experience executing & leading utility projects
- Expertise regarding forecasting, cost control & scheduling on utility construction projects.
- Great understanding & experience within utility asset management
- Contractor management experience at electrical utilities
